The first global art gallery that has been launched on Frank Wilder’s digital art platform Wilder World allows users to collect and share artwork in augmented reality.
Motion artists like himself and Vacades, MREGFX and Phoenix Wilder have created exclusive 3D works which patrons can collect for $9 each. The work is then “donated” to a specific real-world location with a personalized caption and similar to AR-based games like Pokémon GO, any user in that proximity can find and collect that artwork.
Interdisciplinary artist and jewel designer sees the app as an “incredible technology to express and share art in the digital age” and a way to connect with patrons around the world.
Wilder World is currently an invite-only platform. To join the waitlist, head to Frank Wilder’s website. You will receive your first digital artwork for free once invited.

We’re excited to share our new app! The first of it’s kind known as #WilderWorld – A Worldwide art gallery in #augmentedreality. It is a platform for artists, patrons and users to create, collect and share. Artists will have the ability to sell their digital works. The collectors will then be able to buy and donate them to a spot on the map for anyone in that proximity to enjoy. We’re going to start inviting our first wave of users tomorrow. If you are an artist or art advocate sign up now at the link in bio 💫
