Snapchat has recently launched its own Spotlight feature to attract users preoccupied with TikTok which will spotlight the most entertaining posts.
The posts will be curated and highlighted to each user using a “proprietary formula” that will learn your likes and preferences over time to tailor a more specific feed. To promote its launch, Snap Inc. is also offering $1 million every day to distribute among creators with the most entertaining posts, which it says is calculated through unique views.
What’s great is that the winner could be anyone, and not just influencers and established creators. Snapchat’s Spotlight is now available across the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and France, and will launch in other countries soon.
