Whether you are a diehard Blackpink stan, or just casually listen to K-pop, you should definitely know about the subject of the upcoming Netflix documentary, which is exactly the immensely popular girl group.

BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky, set to premiere on the streaming giant later this month, features live footage and “relatable, unfiltered” interviews with each member of the K-pop girl power band. It follows on from the recent release of their album – titled, um, The Album.

The statement about the commentary reads: “As BLACKPINK continues reaching new heights in their career – from headlining sold-out world tours to becoming the first female Korean group to perform at Coachella – each member reflects on the ups and downs of fame and the long, often challenging journey that brought them to worldwide success.”
