The cast of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is holding a 30th-anniversary reunion special on TV.

The Banks family will reunite on the exact day of the 30th anniversary which is September 10 to film the unscripted special and look back at the cultural impact of how Will Smith became the prince of a town called Bel-Air. Will Smith, Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Maxwell Reid, and DJ Jazzy Jeff will be there, according to reports. It will be “a funny and heartfelt night full of music, dancing, and special surprise guests, in honor of the series that ran for six seasons and 148 episodes.”

Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith‘s Westbrook Media will develop the special, which will be directed by Marcus Raboy. Miguel Melendez, Lukas Kaiser, Brad Haugen, and original showrunner Rikki Hughes are the executive producers. Apart from the reunion special, Will Smith is also rebooting the iconic comedy show by giving it a twist of drama and suspense, based on a viral parody trailer created by Morgan Cooper.
