The duo has released their brand new single titled “Dirtknock,” prepping for the release of their collaborative album Sound Ancestors.

The bass guitar-heavy cut features an unnamed female vocalist who adds another layer of sonic texture to the otherwise subtle track. This marks the duo’s third release from the album, following “Hopprock” and “Road of the Lonely Ones.”

The collaborative album will be a 16-track project, the duo revealed, and should drop January 29. Stream Madlib and Four Tet’s “Dirtknock” on Spotify below.
