Just scream, baby.

If you feel stuck, having no one to talk to or want to let go of your frustrations or you simply like the idea of screaming into the phone with no one on the other end of the line, this hotline might help you.

Sometimes it gets too much that a primal and liberating scream is all we need. Chris Gollmar, the “teacher, occasional artist, and generally rather quiet person,” empathized with the people all around the world who feel like they have nowhere to go during the pandemic, and set up this project, noting that “people everywhere have reason to scream.”

In a step-by-step guide on the site, Gollmar explained how to use the hotline. Step one: call. “Don’t worry. There is no live human on the other end of the line. Step two: scream. Wait for the beep. Scream. Hang up. That’s all there is to it. Step three (optional): return to the site to listen to a fresh batch of screams – updated daily.

The hotline in question is +1 561 567 8431, and the website can be found here justscream. baby.
