The 35-minute drama gets an official trailer released. Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming film, who directed the iconic Call Me By Your Name is entitled The Staggering Girl.

The film follows New York-based, Italian-American writer Francesca (Julianne Moore), who must return to Rome to retrieve her grandmother. “As daughter confronts mother, ghosts of Francesca’s youth return in a whirlwind of pain, memory, and fulfillment,” reads the official synopsis. Pierpaolo Piccioli, the creative director of Valentino, is also part of the production team. The Staggering Girl is set to star Mia Goth, KiKi Layne, and long-time David Lynch collaborator Kyle MacLachlan.

The soundtrack for the film is a responsibility for the Japanese composer and Yellow Magic Orchestra legend Ryuichi Sakamoto, whose score will arrive via Milan Records the day before the film is released. The Staggering Girl will be available to stream exclusively on MUBI on February 15. Don’t miss it out.
