There’s no time to waste in 2020, as Netflix announces two big projects involving Spike Lee and Michelle and Barack Obama in the making.

The veteran filmmaker’s war drama epic, Da 5 Bloods, “follows four African American vets who return to Vietnam, searching for the remains of their fallen squad leader and the promise of buried treasure,” with roles by Chadwick Boseman, Paul Walter Hauser, Norm Lewis, Delroy Lindo, and Jonathan Majors.

Former President and First Lady’s 2018 partnership announcement will be realized into Crip Camp set in the late ’60s and the early ’70s, focusing on a revolution that occurs during a summer camp for disabled teenagers, setting the stage for the future of the disability rights movement, directed by Nicole Newnham and Jim LeBrecht, and the Obamas as executive produces.
