Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, a past band member of Calpurnia that split up earlier this month, has formed a new one, and their new track will feature in Floria Sigismondi’s upcoming thriller, The Turning, hitting screens January 24, 2020.
Their new song called “Gettin Better (otherwise)” will be on the soundtrack for the horror which stars the 16-year-old actor and musician, along Black Mirror’s Mackenzie Davis. The movie’s director Floria Sigismondi wanted the soundtrack to have a 90’s rock vibe, putting music by Kim Gordon, Courtney Love, Mitski, Kali Uchis, and more onto the soundtrack list.
