The Belgian designer will now oversee style, comms, and interior design for the brand, as Glenn Martens has been named the new Creative Director of Diesel.

He has a history of collaborating with the legendary Italian label back in 2018, too, when he dropped a collaborative collection as part of its Red Tab series, which should help him step into the role of Creative Director of Diesel.

The ‘jantie’ inventor, or a hybrid between denim shorts and a pantie, will remain Creative Director of the Parisian label Y/Project, where he has worked since 2013. There is no clue however for now as to when his first collection’s likely to drop and if it will feature Diesel-branded re-releases of some of his most memorable designs.
