After scoring  2010’s TRON: Legacy, French duo Daft Punk are set to now score Dario Argento’s new film, Occhiali Neri, or “Black Glasses.”

Interestingly, Daft reached to Dario after hearing he was working on a new film, saying “We want to work with you.”

They got impressed by the script, stating it was one of his “most interesting” to date, says Argento, who returns to crime films with Occhiali Neri: “It’s the adventure, in the nocturnal Rome, of a Chinese girl and child. In the second part, the escape takes them into the rocky, bushy countryside of Lazio. [It’s] different from the sweetness of the Tuscan valleys, but for me beautiful.” The duo is already working on the score, and Dario hopes they can come to Italy and work on the project together. Shooting for the film is scheduled to begin in September, with no release date currently set.
