In an attempt to adapt to the social distancing protocols of COVID-19, Internet music company Bandcamp has developed and launched Bandcamp Live, a ticketed live streaming service ready for artists.

Bandcamp Live allows musicians to easily perform and connect with their fans, providing them a new way for listeners to directly support the artist, with full integration to the website. Another useful feature is the option to sell music and merchandise during their Livestreams via a virtual merch table.

Bandcamp Live artists are free to set desired ticked prices of their shows, but Bandcamp will take 10%. Earlier this year, the company launched Bandcamp Fridays, a monthly one-day event where it waives its revenue share and allows 100 percent of the purchases to go directly to the artist.
