The online archive of The Noguchi Museum has got an expansion, adding 60,000 unique pieces pertaining to Japanese-American artist Isamu Noguchi.

It highlights the museum’s attempt to make the life and work of the great late artist more interactive and digitally accessible, by launching the digital Isamu Noguchi archive featuring 60,000 archival photographs, manuscripts, and digitized drawings, coinciding with the artist’s 115th birthday.

With the online archive’s multiyear expansion, The Noguchi Museum’s website now features 28,000 photographs documenting the artist’s works, exhibitions, studios, personal photographs, and friends. The archive also includes correspondences, exhibition records, and architectural drawings and plans, bringing attention to works that are not often associated with the acclaimed artist.
