Many are aware of late MF DOOM’s collaboration with The Avalanches, whose album Since I Left You, one of the best sample-based albums ever, is turning 20 today.

For the occasion, The Avalanches released a deluxe version of the 2001 album, which boasted appearances from Stereolab, Animal Collective’s Deakin, Leon Vynehall, Carl Craig, and of course MF DOOM. Couple of hours prior to the release of the album, they shared a previously unreleased track “Tonight May Have To Last Me All My Life.” DOOM doesn’t change the original lounge-y instrumental at all, which was already perfectly set up to have a great rapper perform over it.
