To conclude the first season of their Song Machine series, The Gorillaz have released a music video “The Lost Chord,” which features Leee John as a special guest.

Plastic Beach—the title and the setting of their 2010 studio album—is the point of return in the latest visual, where 2D, Noodle, Russel, and Murdoc are attacked by John who appears as a monster from the deep sea.

Although their home island is destroyed by the end of the video, Damon Albarn revealed earlier this year that a sequel to Plastic Beach could be in the works.
