The iconic British band, started by Blur frontman Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, have since their beginning hid behind four animated members Stuart “2-D” Pot, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs, and explored their fictional universe through music videos, interviews, and other short cartoons. Up until three days ago, the band shared on social media a feature film titled Reject False Icons that will run for one night only on December 16, with tickets going on sale on November 27.

The film will go behind the curtains and show “the band’s every move for three years” and, since being directed by Jamies’ son Denholm Hewlett, it is expected to be pretty intimate. It will also offer fans insight into the band’s many collaborations.
