Apparently the Ash & Pyrite Eroded Porsche 911 992 Carrera 4S made by Daniel Arsham, which debuted at his Selfridges space last year, is fully drivable. The contemporary artist posted a video on Instagram showing his eroded car making its way through a tight back street.

The car is a part of the series that follows Arsham’s concept of “fictional archaeology,” taking familiar everyday objects and turning them into eroded, post-apocalyptic finds dated 1,000 years from now. The off-white toned exterior of the car has been crafted to mimic the effects of volcanic ash as if it has survived a devastating natural disaster, accented by corroded details and dressed with delicate crystals.
