NANZUKA’s new art studio “2G”, designed by Snarkitecture, currently hosts collaborative works by Daniel Arsham and Hajime Sorayama, located at the Shibuya PARCO space.

The duo worked on a piece that originated from Sorayama’s sketch of the idea that turned into a highlight piece at the gallery, two years ago. It is a marvelous post-apocalyptic sculpture of Sorayama’s robot and Arsham’s crystal eroded arms holding hand in hand, juxtaposing the mediums they are created in, gypsum and stainless steel that don’t stick together in nature.

They later went on to discuss other works and show admiration of each other’s acclaimed careers. Tour the gallery below.
