Detailed and mindblowing as always, MetaBallStudios’ Alvaro has shared a new video showing a 3D-animated size comparison of some of our solar system’s natural satellites using Earth as a reference. The video compares the satellites (moons) of different planets; from Saturn’s smallest S/2009 S 1 (300m) to Jupiter’s massive Ganymede (5,268.2kms).

Starting off with the Eiffel Tower and Saturn’s smallest satellite, the frame moves to the Statue of Liberty then pulls back to reveal Manhattan, and finally all of planet Earth when the Moon is introduced.  Watch the video below if you’re interested.
